We at the Heartland church of Christ want to welcome you to our website. There is plenty of information to help you in your search for the truth. We wish to invite you to visit our services and study the Word of God with us on Sundays and Wednesdays. We admit you will not find anything formal, or sophisticated. Our purpose is quite simple - to worship God in spirit and in truth (John 4:24), and to help others truly know Him.
Our worship servcies are like those you read of in the New Testament: We sing A cappella songs of praise to God (Ephesians 5:19); we pray (Acts 4:24), we memorialize the Lord's death EVERY First Day of the week as He commanded (Matthew 26:26-29), and we give as we have prospered (1 Corinthians 16:1-2). We also teach and preach from the Bible only - no creed books or church manuals (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
As New Testament Christians, we are not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, because we realize that it ALONE is the power of God to lead us to the salvation of our souls (Romans 1:16; 6:17; Hebrews 5:9).
If the simple, obvious truth of the Scriptures and freedom from denominationalism appeals to you, we hope you will investigate further the Lord's plea for religious unity, to be of ONE MIND, to Believe and teach the SAME DOCTRINE (John 17:20-21; 1 Corinthians 1:10; Philippians 3:16).
Our plea stands or falls by the claim that we can supply "Book, Chapter and Verse" for ALL that we teach and practice.
We are always open to answer any Bible question. Please come study God's Word with us, and let us strive to obey our God by being of the same mind.
